Multidegree Selection Process
- The selection process is conducted based on the specific requirements of each admission Pathways and academic level.
- The selection process for Bachelor’s and Applied Bachelor Programs is coordinated by DAPPMB (Direktorat Administrasi Pendidikan dan Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru/ Directorate of Educational Administration and New Student Admissions).
- The selection process for Postgraduate Programs is managed under the coordination of the Dean of the Graduate School (Sekolah Pascasarjana) and the School of Business (Sekolah Bisnis), in collaboration with DAPPMB.
- The selection process for Professional Programs is conducted by the respective academic programs under the coordination of DAPPMB.
- The selection process for Postgraduate Programs is carried out under the coordination of the Dean of the Graduate School and the Business School, in collaboration with DAPPMB.
- The selection process for Professional Programs is conducted by the relevant academic programs under the coordination of DAPPMB.
- Selection Requirements:
- Bachelor’s and Applied Bachelor Programs: Study programs are determined at the time of student registration at IPB. Admission to the selected program is based on: (1) Academic achievements that meet IPB’s established requirements or standardized test scores that fulfill the applicable criteria; (2) Program’s available capacity; and (3) Applicant’s ability to meet specific requirements set by the chosen study program.
- Graduate Programs (SPs)
- The selection process for new graduate students is conducted in stages and is integrated, beginning with administrative screening, academic assessment, evaluation of prior field of study, and review of relevant scientific activities based on the chosen admission Pathways ;
- Study programs may impose additional requirements, such as psychological tests and interviews.
- Master’s program applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in science. Graduates of Applied Bachelor programs (D4) may be admitted through an equivalency process in accordance with prevailing regulations;
- Doctoral program applicants must hold a Master’s degree from an academic program. Graduates of Master of Management (MM) or Professional Master (MP) programs may be accepted if their study program is accredited A/Excellent;
- Supporting requirements include proof of English proficiency (e.g., TOEFL or IELTS) and TPA (Academic Potential Test) scores, as regulated by SPs;
- Applicants whose previous education is in a related field (linear) may proceed directly to regular classes if they meet the general requirements. Those from non-related fields (non-linear) must complete prerequisite courses (matriculation) set by the program, with a maximum of 9 SKS for the Master’s program and 12 SKS for the Doctoral program.
