a. Lecture activities are conducted through blended learning and/or hybrid learning. Blended Learning is a combination of synchronous (offline), asynchronous (based on Moodle/LMS), and online (face-to-face via technology, such as Zoom, and others) learning. Hybrid learning is a combination of offline and online learning carried out simultaneously. If lectures are conducted in a hybrid manner, it is expected that the study program can prepare adequate supporting equipment so that all students receive an equivalent learning experience.
b. An academic year is divided into two semesters: odd semester and even semester, as specified in the academic calendar established by a Decree of the Vice-Rector for Education and Student Affairs.
c. Lectures are scheduled between 07:00 – 18:00 WIB. Under exceptional circumstances, with the Rector’s approval, lectures may be conducted until 22:00 WIB
d. The time and location of lectures are determined based on the official lecture schedule set by IPB.
e. The minimum number of students per class in lectures is 50 students for Bachelor and Applied Bachelor’s Programs, 5 students for Professional and Master’s Programs, and 3 students for Doctoral Programs, and considering the availability of classrooms and learning efficiency. Students can come from the same study program, from outside the study program, or from outside the university.
f. Students are officially enrolled in a course only if their names appear on both their Student Study Card (KSM) and the course participant list in SIMAK (Academic Information System).
g. For study programs that implement a block system, lecture activities must be recorded in the logbook on studentportal.ipb.ac.id using the student’s account.
h. Students are required to attend all lectures according to the schedule available on studentportal.ipb.ac.id using their respective accounts.
i. Students who are unable to attend a lecture due to illness or other urgent reasons must submit a written request for absence to the course coordinator no later than the next lecture session.
j. Permission to miss a lecture due to illness or other valid reasons may be granted for a maximum of three (3) sessions within the full 14-session semester schedule, except for special assignments from the IPB leadership. To compensate for authorized absences, lecturers may assign special tasks to affected students.
k. If a student joins a course after the KRS-B (Course Registration) period, they are not allowed to miss lectures for any reason, including illness
l. Medical certificates attached to absence requests due to illness must be issued by IPB Doctors/Polyclinic.
m. Absence requests for student activities representing IPB must be issued by the Vice-Rector for Education and Student Affairs through the Directorate of Student Affairs, while other student activity-related permissions must be issued by the relevant unit.
n. Students must arrive in the lecture room before the class begins.
o. Students attending lectures must sign the attendance list.
p. Students who need to leave a lecture due to urgent matters must seek permission from the lecturer.
q. Failure to comply with the above attendance regulations will result in the student being considered absent from the lecture.
r. During lectures, students must wear proper attire and shoes in accordance with norms of decency, appropriateness, and applicable regulations. In certain designated places and times, students may wear specific attire, footwear, and attributes as required (Rector’s Regulation Number 45 of 2025
s. During lectures, both students and lecturers/assistants are prohibited from smoking or engaging in any activities that may disrupt the class.
t. Lecturers may warn students who disrupt the lecture and have the right to remove them from the classroom if they continue to cause disturbances.
u. Course changes (additions or cancellations) can only be made during the KRS-B period.
v. Throughout the lecture period, students are subject to the Student Code of Conduct (Rector’s Regulation Number 45 of 2025
