Student Mobility Outside Campus (Outbond)

  1. IPB students participating in student mobility programs outside campus (student exchange) are required to pay UKT and complete KRS registration for the ongoing semester.
  2. Students must report their exchange program activities to their study program/department upon completion and proceed with course recognition or credit transfer for inclusion in their transcript or SKPI (Diploma Supplement).
  3. Students participating in student exchange programs at other universities, either domestically or internationally, are subject to a UKT fee of 20%. Student exchange participants must maintain active student status.
  4. Students from other universities may enroll in credit-earning programs at IPB under the following conditions:
    a. The home university must have an institutional collaboration with IPB, as evidenced by a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and a Cooperation Agreement (PKS/Perjanjian Kerja Sama).
    b. The home university must collaborate with a department or study program at IPB, which will be responsible for the credit-earning activities.
    c. Credit-earning programs for international students are coordinated by the Directorate of International Education.
    d. The tuition fees are calculated based on the UKT fees paid by the student at the home university or as stipulated in the PKS.
    e. Credit-earning participants must have active academic status at their home university during the ongoing semester. For students from domestic universities, they must be registered in the Higher Education Database
    f. The maximum number of credits that can be taken at IPB is 20 SKS.
    g. DAPPMB (Direktorat Administrasi Pendidikan dan Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru/ Directorate of Educational Administration and New Student Admissions) coordinates with the Directorate of Finance to issue tuition fee invoices to the home university.
  5. IPB students have the right to participate in credit-earning programs at other universities, both domestic and international, or for students from other universities to undertake credit-earning at IPB, subject to the following requirements:
    a. The host university must have a written cooperation agreement with IPB. If the university is located abroad, the agreement must comply with the regulations of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia, specifically those set by the Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology. Applications to participate in the credit-earning program must be submitted to the Vice Rector for Education and Student Affairs with approval from the Head of Department and the Dean of the Faculty/School no later than two (2) months before the commencement of the academic term at the host university. At the time of application, the student must have active enrollment status.
    b.IPB students may participate in a credit-earning program at another university for a maximum of one (1) semester. The number of credits taken must be at least 10 SKS and may not exceed 20 SKS. This regulation also applies to students from other universities studying at IPB.
    c. The period spent earning credits at another university is counted as part of the student’s study duration, and the student remains subject to UKT (tuition fee) payment obligations.
    d. The transfer and recognition of credits and grades earned at another university into IPB’s curriculum will be assessed by a team assigned by the Program/Department/Faculty/School. A course is considered equivalent and recognized by IPB if at least 70% of its learning outcomes align with those of the corresponding IPB course
    e. Courses that cannot be equated with program-specific courses may be recognized as IPB enrichment courses or as external course credits.
