- Course repetition refers to a student’s re-enrollment in a previously attended course in a prior academic term.
- The regulations for course repetition for vocational students are as follows:
a. Students with an annual GPA between 1.50 and < 2.00 are required to repeat courses with grades D and E.
b. Students who receive an E grade must repeat the course.
c. The minimum number of repeated courses is three per semester.
d. The best grade obtained in the repeated course will be considered in the GPA calculation. - The regulations for course repetition for bachelor’s students are as follows:
a. Students who receive an E grade (except for EC courses) must retake the course, with a maximum of two repetitions throughout their study period.
b. If, after two course repetitions, the student still receives an E grade, they will not be allowed to register for the next semester and will be dismissed from IPB.
c. Students who receive a D grade may retake the course with the approval of the course coordinator.
d. Students who have passed the course (with grades C, BC, B, AB, or A) cannot repeat it.
e. Courses in the CCC category with an E grade must be repeated in the following academic term.
f. The time gap between the initial course enrollment and the first repetition must not exceed four semesters. Students who fail to repeat an E-graded course within four semesters will be dismissed from IPB.
g. Students who receive an E grade in an enrichment course (EC) may cancel the course with the approval of their Academic Advisor and the department offering the course. The cancellation request must be submitted no later than one week before the KRS-A registration period for the following semester.
h. Students who receive an E grade in a supporting course may cancel the course with the approval of the offering department/program. The cancellation request must be submitted after the KRS-B period in the following semester. The cancellation must not result in the student lacking the minimum required credits set by their department/program.
i. The best grade obtained in the repeated course will be considered in the GPA calculation. - The regulations for course repetition for Professional and Graduate students are as follows:
a. Students who receive a D grade must repeat the course, and the best grade will be considered.
b. Students who receive an E grade in any course will not meet the requirements to continue their studies at IPB and will be dismissed (drop-out) from the university.
